With over 40 years of experience in the processing of tuna, our sites are home to the largest tuna business in the Indian Ocean and the African Continent.
We were the first global supplier of canned tuna to hold the SA8000 certification for social accountability.
This certification provides a measurable, international standard in working conditions and practices. And it forms part of our ongoing commitment to developing our workforce and ensuring the highest possible standards.
Our production facilities on the island have grown over the years and we now operate across 33,000 square metres of space.
Our second site at Marine Road is a major processing facility producing tuna loins for export to canneries and pouches for food service and our industrial customers.
Seafood sustainability is an absolute commitment – whether it’s tuna, salmon, mackerel or sardines. We know and trust our fishing partners. In fact, we can trace every can of Princes fish back to its original boat.
Princes offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic business that invests in our people. Come and be part of our future.
