HR Most Influential List 2022

Princes’ Chief People Officer Joe Dent has been recognised in this year’s HR Most Influential List 2022.

The annual list celebrates the top 35 most influential players in the field of people strategy. These are the people whose ideas and actions are shaping practices in HR, both in the UK and globally.

First published in 2006, the HR Most Influential practitioners list is compiled by HR Magazine’s editorial team and research partners Hult Ashridge Executive Education.

This year’s list was unveiled last night at an event on board HMS Belfast in London. Princes is the only FMCG brand on the list.

Joe Dent said: “I was really proud to see not mine but Princes’ name on the annual list of HR’s Most Influential. We are working really hard as a team to make a difference. We do it because it is the right thing to do as an Employer of Choice but I can’t deny that recognitions such as this makes it all worthwhile.”

Joe, who joined Princes 16 years ago, leads an HR team of 90 people providing HR services to a rapidly growing business with around 7,500 colleagues at 15 locations in the UK and overseas across a full range of commercial and operational functions.

Keen to ensure the company takes real and practical steps to make Princes an increasingly inclusive place to work, Joe has been responsible for spearheading various people-driven initiatives.

This has included a dedicated employer brand ‘Our Princes – Our People’, which contributed to Princes winning the Employer of the Year award at the Grocer Gold Awards 2021.

Joe was appointed Chief People Officer for Princes Group in April 2021 after ten years as Group HR Director.
