• Manage the delivery of innovation projects from ideation through to market launch.

  • Assess the viability and feasibility of concepts against business objectives within the Princes framework.

  • Agree scope and create timelines of activity that deliver the quality, time, cost, design and other objectives and allocating the appropriate level of resources.

  • Manage to these timelines by collaborating and delegating activity across subject matter experts from different functions, identifying, any risks, solutions or changes to scope.

  • Proactive anticipation and root cause assessment of risks and issues to identify contingency and/or mitigation, escalating through defined PMO and governance processes.

  • Manage ambiguity by ensuring project teams take action to test new ideas and use feedback and results to shape project outcomes.

  • Provide positive challenge, whilst maintaining a focus on results.

  • Lead the agreement of team recommendations or decisions at key milestones, also ensuring a design led, creative mindset with focus on the customer and the end consumer.

  • Build and maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders including head office, manufacturing sites and suppliers and act as the primary point of contact for the project or portfolio.

  • Tracking and reporting of project deliverables, including plans, financial benefits, risks, assumptions, issues and decisions.

  • Provision of critical project information to stakeholders for project milestones/forums to enable effective decision making

  • Facilitation of post launch reviews, in collaboration with key stakeholders.




  • The end to end management of the allocated project portfolio.

  • Travel will be required in this role – up to 30% could be spent away from head office.




Qualifications/ Knowledge/ Experience


Thorough understanding of portfolio and project management practices and frameworks


Proven track record in managing the delivery of food & drink innovation projects


Solid experience in project planning tools and critical path management at project / portfolio level.


Solid financial management skills


Sound knowledge of problem solving and facilitation techniques


MS Project


PMP / PRINCE II Practitioner certification


Team leadership experience


Previous exposure to insight / idea development frameworks & methods
