Chief People Officer shortlisted in HR Excellence Awards
Joe Dent, Chief People Officer and a Board member at Princes Group, has been shortlisted in this year’s HR Excellence Awards.
The prestigious awards are run annually by HR Magazine and this year’s winners will be announced on Tuesday, 6 December at The Brewery, London.
The judging panel is made up of top HR directors and consultants from a wide range of public, private and third sector organisations.
Entries making the shortlist had to impress the judges with their HR innovation to solve business problems, championing value creation through the power of people.
We are proud that Joe is one of ten people to have been shortlisted for the HR Director of the Year award.
Joe, who joined Princes 16 years ago, leads an HR team of 90 people providing HR services to a rapidly growing business with around 7,500 colleagues at 15 locations in the UK and overseas across a full range of commercial and operational functions.
Keen to ensure the company takes real and practical steps to make Princes an increasingly inclusive place to work, Joe has been responsible for spearheading various people-driven initiatives.
This has included a dedicated employer brand ‘Our Princes – Our People’, which contributed to Princes winning the Employer of the Year award at the Grocer Gold Awards 2021.
Joe was appointed Chief People Officer for Princes Group in April 2021 after ten years as Group HR Director.
