Case Study – Joe Dent – Group HR Director, Liverpool
The last three years have been the most exciting of my 14 years with Princes, developing and implementing the company’s People Excellence strategy.
I’ve worked my way up through the business.
My first role was as HR Controller for UK Operations looking after 11 sites.
I was then promoted to HR Director for Operations which included overseeing our site in Mauritius, before moving into my current role as Group HR Director.
I’ve been fortunate to have had continuous career progression, something we are passionate about at Princes.
There is never a dull moment here and it is great to be able to shape and influence the strategic side of the business.
The Board have been hugely supportive of our People Excellence strategy. To be able to lead this key initiative has been both satisfying and rewarding.
I am fortunate to have a great team around me who are responsible for making this strategy a reality across all of our business, both in the UK and globally.
The work we are doing around Inclusion & Diversity, Health & Wellbeing and Learning & Development are massively important in making Princes an Employer of Choice.
I am hugely proud of what we have achieved so far, but there is still plenty to do.
